The BLOOM⁴³ app was developed through a comprehensive research approach, combining qualitative insights from a group of patients with quantitative data from a larger sample of 140 breast surgery patients. These studies explored the needs and challenges breast surgery patients face during both the preparation for and recovery from surgery.
